- ENTM 798D Topic Seminar in Pest Management (1 credit). Topic seminars in the area of pest management designed to explore current theoretical and applied issues.
- ENTM725 IPM Practices (3 credits). On-line course introduces students to the fundamental elements of IPM programs including sampling and decision-making, and the integration of intervention tactics in comprehensive management strategies.

Extension and Research Interests
Prior to my retirement in July 2006, I had extension and research responsibilities, specializing in integrated pest management, non-target risk assessment, and pesticide resistance management. My extension work involved the development and implementation of IPM projects to reduce pesticide use in vegetable and field crops. I am still working part-time and involved with in-state and national training activities conducted to meet the continuing educational needs of agri-chemical personnel, crop advisors, county extension educators, and producers. I also provide periodic pest alerts and management recommendations tailored to real-time conditions, delivered via the Extension PestNet Report during the growing season.
Current Research
My current research projects focus on the comparative risk assessment of transgenic insecticidal crops and conventional insecticides on nontarget beneficial arthropods, including honey bee; efficacy evaluation of new transgenic corn events; testing of new insecticide formulations and active ingredients, with emphasis on organic products; and studies addressing information gaps in the biology and management of emerging pest species.
